Silver cup or chalice. Tapering beaker shaped bowl, with curved base and baluster stem, the dome foot is detached. Hallmarks on the outer rim of the bowl - unclear maker's mark, Leaopard's head crowned (London), lion passant, date letter for 1638. Hallmark on the lower surface of the foot - lion passant. There are also two sets of scratched graffiti initials on the lower surface of the foot, one AI(or J), the other I(or J)A. Pewter sepulchral chalice. It has a wide, shallow cupped bowl which has been broken from the stem but soldered back on in recent times. It is grooved below the rim to produce a beaded rim. There are turning lines on the internal and external surfaces. It has been bent out of shape and has surface corrosion. It has a short simple stem with a central rounded knop above a ridge collar.
