A single piece of ceramic building material of medieval date. One side appears to have some kind of incised markings, evident as a set of parallel diagonal lines, probably for construction rather than decorative purposes. There appears to have been a flint temper, and the fabric is of a red colour, in the small areas where it has not suffered from abrasion. The generic nature of the fragment means that it can only be given a wide date range within the medieval period.

A set of five pieces of Roman ceramic building material. The fabric is, naturally, very coarse and contains quite large inclusions. All of the pieces are now irregular shapes. The colour varies between the fragments, ranging from a bright orangey red to an almost buff grey-yellow. The fragments range in size from 52.9 x 31.25 x 13.3mm, to 33.3 x 24.3 x 12.5mm. These sherds, the largest and smallest, weigh 32.3g and 9.9g respectively.

A fragment of ceramic building material probably of medieval date. The surviving form is undiagnostic; the fabric recipe looks both Roman and medieval. The fragment is a pink-brown colour, with a speckled black patina thinly spread over one side. Across one corner there is what appears to be a part of a quasi-circular marking or indent, probably caused by wear. On the other side, a triangular piece of the fragment has been worn away, leaving a lower layer of ceramic visible.
