Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper alloy strap end, 30mm long, 9mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 3.20g. The object is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a flat triangular shaped plate which has a flat upper edge with a large, centrally placed, circular hole just below. Halfway down this plate there is a step across the object at an angle, suggesting this is an old break and would have formed a second triangular plate to hold the belt/strap. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval composite buckle with forked spacer, dating to AD 1350-1450. It has an oval buckle frame with bevelled edges and a central lip with notch for pin on the outside edge. The pin is oval in cross-section and tapers towards the end; it is wrapped around the offset and conscricted bar. The forked spacer is incomplete and the plates are missing. Roman copper alloy statue fragment, 28mm long, 18mm wide and 13mm thick with a weight of 25.18g. The object is sub rectangular in form and oval in cross section. It appears to be the tip of a human finger or toe with an upwards turning terminal with an incised finger/toe nail. Given its size it must be a fragment of a large, almost life size statue.

Bent and incomplete medieval to post-medieval tinned copper alloy purse bar. Ward Perkins type A1, with a stylised gaping animal heads gripping the side bars, short flange at end of both with triple perforations. The bars and the central enlarged sub-spherical boss (with vertical perforation), have traces of decoration comprising widely spaced cross-hatched pairs of oblique lines inlaid with niello. The suspension loop and terminals are missing (the later broken across integral rivets for missing roves). Length (unbent) 138mm. Height of boss 11.5mm. Width of boss 15mm. C.1450-1550 AD.
