A copper alloy unknown object of unknown date. The object is a copper alloy bar that curves slightly, and narrows towards the terminal end. At the terminal end there is a semi circular projection on one edge, before the bar terminates in a rounded edge. At the opposite end the bar curves to one side at ninety degrees, before ending in a worn break. Inside the bend is an incised diagonal line. The bar is oval in cross section, and has a mid green patina. It measures 109.2mm in length, 10.5mm in maximum width, 7.0mm in maximum thickness and weighs 42.22g.

An incomplete, lead medieval seal matrix. Oval or vesical-shaped stamp, only half of the object remains. The matrix bears an oval frame with a cross pattée. In the centre of the seal is an incised X and axe-shaped design. Surrounding the oval is an inscription which reads +S'B R'S. The reverse of the matrix is plain except for a shallow raised rib across the back. See for example references LANCUM-C65AB5, SWYOR-FB8C5E, LEIC-26BBA1 and BH-4A6073. The object is slightly curved and with a flat underside, a semi-circular section and 3 beads that were apparently made in one piece and are three-quarter spheres.
