An incomplete copper-alloy sheet metal bell of medieval to Post Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1600. The bell is made from a single sheet of metal which has been rolled into an elongated conical shape with an integral suspension loop at the pointed end. The loop is pierced from side to side and projects forwards. The join, which may have originally been soldered together, is clearly visible. A copper alloy button and loop fastener of Wild class III dating from the early Roman period, about AD 43 - 175. The fastener comprises of two main parts; The loop fastener part is an elongated triangle and the narrow end of the triangle turns into a rod and bends 90 degrees towards the integral button element. The button or head is tear or petal-shaped and comprises a central boss surrounded by a raised outer edge which is drawn out into a point at one end.
