Record ID: SUSS-A6EA21
Object type: BONE POTTERY STAMP
County: West Sussex
Workflow stage: Published Find published
This piece of animal bone looks as though it has been shaped to be held and to be used as a pottery stamp. Four notches have been carved into the bone, so that when the bone is pressed against clay, it leaves an impression (as seen in the photographs of the clay).
