An incomplete copper-alloy rowel spur of Post-Medieval date, c.1600 – 1800AD. The spur consists of an ovate sectioned neck which splits to one end forming the rowel box. The rowel is now missing. The curved arms with a D-shaped section. Both arms have been bent and distorted, but each terminate with a pair of button-headed rivets. The spur has a mid-green patina and is worn. The object consists of a central vertical stem with two leaves either side radiating outwards. Within the leaves is a pointed oval perforation. The top and bottom of the stem is broken. The object has bevelled edges on both sides and has no surface decoration present.
