A flint probable microlith of Mesolithic date, 10000 - 4000 BC, or possibly a scraper. It is formed on a triangular tertiary flake of opaque grey flint with a  dorsal ridge. There is abrupt, short, scaled retouch on the oblique distal end, and some areas of similar retouch on the left side. It is 21.4mm long, 15mm wide and 5.9mm thick. 2g.

A lead button of post-medieval date (c.AD 1500-1600). The domed button has a convex face and a flat reverse. The face is decorated with a central pellet, from which projects a concentric cross motif. The Flat is back with two slightly raised ridges where a loop would likely have been. Due to the back being flat, it is possible this was a mount. There are Similar examples in Gordon Bailey, Buttons and Fasteners (2004, 25). Dimensions: Diameter 13.8mm, Thickness 5.mm, Weight 3.70g.

A copper-alloy mount of post-medieval date (c.AD1500-1650). The mount is symmetrical on a vertical axis. At the top, it has two rounded knops connected to a concave shaft, two further lobed knops at its end, and a pointed apex. The Face is decorated with a line of circles up the length of the shaft. The reverse is undecorated. The mount has a dark brown patina. Similar examples can be seen in Brian Read, Metal Artefacts of Antiquity (2001, 36). Dimensions: Length 42.9mm, Width 12.0mm, Thickness 2.2mm, Weight 2.62g.

A group of three complete copper-alloy silver gilded book clasps of post-medieval date (c.AD 1700-1900). Each of the clasps comprises three parts: two flattened sheets that are bent around an oval loop and held together with rivets. They are mostly grey flint, with many chert. Most are patinated or partially patinated.  There are: 59 chips (of which 9 are chert) 33 flakes (of which 12 are chert; 11 black and 1 tan). 26 tertiary and 7 secondary. 1 blade ( tertiary) and 14 bladelets (of which 6 are chert). 1 secondary and 13 tertiary, some incomplete.

There is invasive low-angle scaled retouch on the right side, covering half of the dorsal face. There are also some low-angle removals from the proximal end on the ventral face. The right edge has semi-abrupt, short, sub-parallel retouch forming a scraping edge. There are also some removals on the proximal left edge, but these are less obviously intentional.
