An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1600). The object is sub-triangular in form and D-shaped in section. At the top are two rounded lobes with a circular aperture in each. Below the lobes is a rounded collar from which extends the body of the object that curves inwards and then rounds. A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1350-1450). The buckle consists of a double-looped frame that is presented as a large oval loop and a smaller rectangular loop. Both loops are largely undecorated with patches of filing lines visible. The central that separates the two loops presents a constriction in the centre around which is wound a pin. The front face has two incised horizontal lines as decoration. The object is a sub-triangular shape with three holes: two circles next to each other above an upside-down triangle. At the point of the triangle, there is a T-shape, with an incised line in the horizontal line of the T, and then M-shaped metal, with the second incised line long the top of the M.  Dimensions: Length: 33.6mm, Width: 14.1mm, Thickness: 2.2mm, Weight: 3.78g.

One end of the straight edge is thin, whilst the opposite end is much thicker, possibly the base of the foot.
