An incomplete copper-alloy globular headed pin of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 1000.
The pinhead is globular with irregularly spaced ring and dot designs around its circumference and one on the flattened top. From the base of the head a circular sectioned shaft extends, tapering to a worn break. The worn remains of a raised collar are present at the junction between the head and the shaft.
The metal has a delaminated mid-brown patina and is worn. The pin is 22.8mm long, the head is 11.4mm in diameter, the shaft is 2.2mm in diameter and weighs 5.4g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1400. Meols Type 10.
The buckle is a single looped oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edge. Two prominent knops flank two smaller knops with raised collars where they join. The central recesses would have acted as a rest for the pin. The pin no longer remains.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is in fair condition. The buckle is 21.5mm long, 24.7mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 2.9g.
A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead p.21, no.78 and is dated to circa AD 1250 - 1400.

An incomplete copper-alloy Colchester derivative, or Thealby, brooch of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 200. Mackreth 2011, Colchester derivative Type 17a/b1, no direct parallel, similar plate.65, no.2580.
The head of the brooch comprises tubular wings which act as a hinge mechanism. An axis bar is retained through the lugs and a pin slot is encrusted with iron corrosion. The pin proper no longer remains.

A complete copper-alloy strap end of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450.
The object comprises two heater shield shaped plates joined together at the lower pointed terminal. The opposite end is open, though joined with a central rivet. The sides of the plates are broadly parallel.
The upper surface of one plate is decorated with a shallowly incised triangle flanked by pellets.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The strap end is 18.3mm long, 12.7mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 1.7g.

An incomplete copper-alloy finger ring of Roman date, c.AD 50-300. Guiraud's Type 1b (Henig Type 1).
The bezel is round with a sub-rectangular section with a recessed circular cell to the upper surface. The cell holds five circles of blue enamel in a cross formation. One of the circles is largely lost. The remains of an integral hoop extend downward at almost 90 degrees to either end of the reverse of the bezel. The hoop has an ovate section and both sides taper to worn breaks.
