An extremely worn, incomplete, copper alloy Roman sestertius, likely of Diva Fautina II (AD 147-175) and struck under Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180) and dating to the period AD 176-180 (Reece Period 8). Whilst the coin is extremely worn, it appears to have the AETERNITAS reverse type depicting Aeternitas veiled and draped, standing left, holding globe surmounted by a phoenix in extended right hand whilst leaning left arm on a column. See RIC III pg.349 no.1693 for a potentially similar coin.
