A piece of copper alloy casting waste (Roman to late Medieval) that is reminiscent of a horse shape. The ‘horse’ has two legs with the feet turning inwards and a small, globular tail. An incomplete copper alloy late Anglo-Saxon strap end, dating circa AD 750-1100. The object is sub-lozenge in shape, tapering toward a point. The shape is similar to figures 1-10 in Thomas, 2003. The decoration on the front of the strap end is not clearly visible due to wear in the soil, making it difficult to identify further than Class A, Types 1-3 in Thomas (2003, FRG Datasheet 32). A fragment of a copper alloy cooking pot. The pentagonal-shaped fragment has an uneven surface that is grey and black in colour. The back of the fragment has a circular protrusion. Butler, Green and Payne (2009, p. 3) note how body fragments such as these are not uncommon finds, and often come from the outward curving of the rim which is a weak point. A complete late early-medieval copper alloy stirrup terminal with a front trefoil finial. The front and sides are decorated at the top with two transverse grooves, the space between which curves outwards. A complete lead or lead alloy probable lid for a small vessel or similar artefact, probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). The lid is conical in shape, with a circular hole at the top. This has an internal diameter of 11.0 mm. A triangular shaped vertical handle is present at the opposite side to the rectangular hinge. Two attachment lugs are still present, with an iron axis bar between them. The inside is concave with a lip at the base. It is 21.5 mm wide, 30.9 mm thick and 10.1 mm tall. It weighs 7.47 g. The lid is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete copper alloy artefact, possibly from a door or window latch dating to circa AD 1600-1800.  It has a zoomorphic decoration in shape of a bird with a long curved beak. The reverse is flat and undecorated. It measures 53.5mm long at its longest point 4mm thick 14mm across at widest point. A parallel can be found on the database; DEV-12DEE1 discovered in Somerset. Another similar example has been published by Read (2021, 294-295) no. 1666.
