Uni-faced cast lead-alloy (possibly pewter) token of probable late medieval / post-medieval date (1400 - 1650). The design is limited to one face and is formed from a series of linear cast ribs. These form a central cross which divides the token evenly. The edges of the token are ragged and possibly clipped? Diameter: 18.7mm, thickness 2.8mm. Weight 4.17 grams

A Medieval - Post Medieval lead token - wine taverns.
Obverse: Shield decorated with vertical parallel lines
Reverse: Possibly a stylised face with lentoid eyes, nose that extends up between the eyes to also depict the eye brows, oval mouth with upturned corners and an oval tongue all within a border of parallel lines.

a medieval lead 'Boy Bishop' token. It is extemely worn, with a crack almost dividing it into 1/3 and 2/3. The inscription is ilegible, but a bishop's mitre can just be made out.

A uniface Post Medieval lead alloy token. On one side the token has the raised initials WW surrounded by pellets. Powell type 2. The other side is blank. Leaden tokens were used for a variety of purposes. These ranged from small change, to checks and tallies for services rendered such as hop picking. They were in use from the Medieval period into late Post-Medieval.
