A Medieval iron strap end, dating to c. AD 1250-1450. The strap end is rectangular in plan, with a roughly sub-triangular cross section. The strap end flattens and becomes sub-rectangular in cross section, and is transversely split. with a centrally positioned iron rivet. The strap end tapers into a collared knop at the terminal. Dimensions: 51.06mm in length; 12.87mm in width; weight 9.83g. cf. Egan & Pritchard (1991: 130-132) no. 607

A medieval iron strap end probably dating 13th - 14th century. The strap end has been decoratively made so the central section is a pointed oval with a tear-drop shaped terminal, there are two ridges at the junction between the body and the terminal. There is a flat back plate that is now incomplete. A single rivet is still present, within the rivet hole in the front plate. Dimensions: length: 32.95mm; width: 13.00mm; thickness: 5.63mm; weight: 3.58g.

A copper alloy and iron strapend, probably medieval in date. The strapend is an elongated trapezoidal shape which tapers to a trefoil point. The core of the strapend is iron. It is sandwiched between two thin copper alloy sheets. The sheets are broken in the trefoil area.
