An Early Post-Medieval lead Coronation jetton of Elizabeth I, measuring c.30mm in diameter, c.1.4mm in thickness and weighing 9.93g (153.0gn). It is cast with some wear and had been neatly folded in half - it is now straightened out.
Obverse: Series of pellets at edge, raised circle 25mm diameter filled with a six-petalled flower, the field pelleted
Reverse: Crowned phoenix left rising from the flames

Medieval or later lead disc, 25mm in diameter and 2mm thick, possibly a token or counter. On one suface there is decoration in the form of a cross, with a cresents running from edge to edge, so that the mid points join the short arms of the cross.
