A Scottish medieval cut silver voided long cross halfpenny of Alexander III dating to AD 1250-c.1280 (first coinage type III). ALEX[ANDER R]EX obverse depicting a small head facing left with a neat crown and holding a sceptre. [WAL]TER ON R reverse depicting a voided long cross with stars in the quarters. Mint of Renfrew.
