A complete Medieval silver Sterling imitation penny of John the Blind (AD 1309-46), King of Bohemia and Count of Luxembourg, AD 1310-46. Mayhew 260. No eagle in inscriptions.
Obverse: Crowned bust facing with wedged drapery.
Obverse inscription: + (cross pattée) IOhANnES DEI GRA',
Reverse: Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
Reverse inscription: REX/BOE/ETP/OLO
Dimensions: diameter: 18.32mm; weight: 1.31g.

An incomplete Medieval silver coin: a continental sterling imitation issued by John the Blind, King of Bohemia and Duke of Luxemburg (AD 1310-1346), Marville mint. Half of the coin has been torn away and is missing. The remaining portion is 18.4mm long, 8.9mm wide and 0.9mm thick. It weighs 0.55gm. The data kindly provided by P and B Withers indicated that this coin is Mayhew number 285.
