A very worn copper-alloy coin of probable Roman date, dating to the period c.AD 41-402. The obverse and reverse types are unclear. Unclear mint. The denomination and date range of this coin are unclear due to its preservation, although its appearance suggests Roman rather than anything else. It could plausibly either be a very worn early Roman as or dupondius, or a worn radiate or nummus of unclear type.

A fragment of a Late Iron Age- Roman copper alloy brooch, possibly Langton Down type, in which case, dating to c. AD 25 - 60. All that remains is a head made up of apparently two short wings which may once have been cylindrical but which have now partly worn away, exposing the outer surfaces of the coils of a spring. The rear of the coils appear to be still within the remains of the original casing. Six coils can be discerned but there may be more. The ends of the wings are obscured by debris and/or corrosion. There is no pin. The remaining very short length of bow is a tapering metal …

At each end are three strongly moulded transverse ridges which step down, at one end, towards a pointed finial which surmounts a single loop , presumably for the pin mechanism, while the other finial, and catchplate, are lost to an early break at the other.
