A section of animal bone, modified by cutting and filing into a probable fishing spear. The object consists of a tapering, hollow section of animal bone that has been chamfered on three sides to create a sharper point at the narrower end. This pointed terminal has been further modified by cutting and filing to produce a double point with a rectangular notch in the centre. This terminal is now broken and incomplete. An iron Spearhead. Wrought iron with a flat leaf shaped blade with shoulders set at circa 45 degrees to the socket and a thin, heavily corroded and lightly bent blade. The object has no central rib and its original length and shape is obscured due to the state of corrosion.
