A complete knapped flint serrated implement of early Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 3300 BC.  The implement is a serrated blade which is D-shaped in both plan and section with a curving profile. The flint is a cream-grey colour with a few lighter inclusions. The blade is formed on a secondary flake with the dorsal surface showing negative flake scars and it has continuous notches (denticulations) along the full length of the right concave lateral edge to create a serrated surface. Rectangular piece of translucent brown coloured piece of flint with lighter speckled in the surface. The dorsal face is uneven and appears to have been removed from a core, several negative scars apparent on its surface. The proximal edge is uneven and rough in appearance. The right margin may have been subject to retouch, with some serration possible along its edge. The distal edge appears broken or snapped off, but does appear to have been blunted by retouch. The left margin again appears to have subject to some retouch with implied micro serrations along its edge. The ventral face …

The right margin is a serated edge (distal to proximal), with the proximal end appearing to be broken, sharp edges remaining on the right side. The serated edge also appears to have a small amount of damage in the medial area, The left margin provides some indicaitons of retouch or hammer damage, with a small notch between the proximal and medial on the left margin.
