An incomplete Post Medieval glass wine bottle seal, dating to the 17th-18th century. The seal has been stamped into molten glass attached to the side of a bottle (lost in antiquity), with an inscription in three lines which consists of, 'I DYMOCK SAUSTHORP'  the last letter being placed above the 'R'.  The last two words are moulded in a slightly curved line.  The last word has the following damage to some of the letters, the first 'S' is missing the lower half, the letter 'h' is missing the upper arm and the letter 'R' is missing …

An incomplete Post Medieval glass wine bottle seal, dating to the 17th-18th century. The seal has been stamped into molten glass attached to the side of a bottle (lost in antiquity), with an inscription on three lines which consists of a first name initial ‘T’, followed by a surname possibly ‘Forde’ (first letter incomplete due an old break), and an incomplete date, probably 1629 or 1729. The glass is green in colour but has begun to degrade giving the exterior surface a milky off-white flaky appearance. Dimensions: diameter: 40.56mm; thickness: 9.13mm; weight: 16.7g.

A sherd form the base of a glass wine bottle c1700-c1750. The black glass sherd is from the steep sided dome of the base, with not enough of the side wall to be certain if it was a late onion or early cylindrical bottle Vessel wall thickness 11mm. Weight 79g.

A Post Medieval pale blue - green glass bottle or Apothecary's phial, dating 17th - 18th Century. Blown glass bottle with cylindrical unevenly shaped body, rounded shoulders, short neck, slightly everted rim, pronounced kick in the base. Glass has taken on some white patination which flakes off. A dark green fragment, just over half of a seal from a 18th century glass bottle. There is a raised area on reverse side. Part of a name remains on the seal which appears to read as T ESCOTT and the remains of a date below, only the end figure 3 survives.The remaining fragment is approx 2 1/2 cm wide and 1cm thick including the raised reverse.
