A late early medieval cast copper-alloy tongue-shaped strap end dating from the mid 10th- mid 11th century (c. AD 950-1050). Thomas 2014, Class E, Type 1. The strap end is tongue shaped: rectangular in form with one straight edge at the split end, tapering to a rounded edge. It is rectangular in cross-section.
