An incomplete Post Medieval silver penny of uncertain ruler, type, or mint, c.AD 1640-1690. This coin has been worn too heavily on the obverse to be identified and is slightly clipped around the edges. A single, round hole has been punched through from the obverse to the reverse face, possibly to remove it from circulation. The reverse design is still slightly visible, showing the rounded and floral shield of Charles I-II.

A complete and worn post medieval silver coin, apparently deliberately polished and bent, possibly to form a love-token. The coin is polished to the point it is mostly illegible, but it is probably a sol-piece of Louis XIV of France (AD 1643 - 1715), minted at Paris and dating to the period 1691 - 1699. The obverse is mostly illegible, the legend may have been over-struck. DG FR can be seen, and the laureate and draped head of probably Louis XIV facing right. A cast copper-alloy unifaced coin weight of Medieval or post-Medieval date (1400-1600). The coin weight is circular in plan and the front face depicts a raised single masted sailing vessel with standing rigging. The hull is depicted as being clinker built and has rose on the hull at the centre. The figure of a crowned king stands amidships with a sword in his right hand and a quartered shield on his left arm. The rear face of the weight is flat and plain. A complete cast copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for an Angel (c. 1604-c. 1619). The weight depicts St Michael with angel wings spearing a dragon at his feet. It is of a British type produced between 1464 and 1619. The weight at 68.2 grains (4.41g. is low for an Angel (80 grains, reduced to 71 grains in 1604) but too high for a half Angel (40 grains reduced to 35.5 grains). A lead alloy token of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), struck c. 1574 (North 1991: 140, ref: 2063). North comments: ‘There exist a number of lead or pewter pieces which have in the past been described as patterns or tokens. It is more probable however that they were political medalets or counters, as some would appear to relate to Mary, Queen of Scots, and the workmanship on most is rather crude. They are normally found in London, and were struck about 1574 (North 1991: 140).

A complete square double-sided cast copper-alloy Antwerp coin weight. The obverse bears the hand of Antwerp (upright) with an 8 to the left and a 5 to the right (denoting a date of 1585), and an 'H' below the 8 on the left and an 'F', below the 5 to the right. These letters indicate that the weight was issued by Hans Foncq of Antwerp. Hans Foncq issued weights between 1577-1603. The reverse depicts a shield. A complete cast lead or lead alloy circular double-sided token of post-Medieval to Modern date (c. 1500-c. 1850). The token has a raised initial letters: T (or I) C on one side and a raised grid pattern on the other side. Diameter: 16.5mm; weight: 2.56g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to date c.1500-1850 AD.
