Roman Crambeck mortarium dating from the 4th century AD. The sherd consists of part of the rim, angled shoulder and body from a wall sided mortaria with double flanged rim. The from itself dates to the 4th century but the fabric (Hard with creamy colour) identifies it as Crambeck Parchment ware that may have once been painted, which dates the vessel to 360 plus.

Base fragment of a South Devon smooth-ware vessel. The fragment is irregular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. It would have formed the circular base of a vessel. The base of the object is light orange with no inclusions. The internal fabric is light grey with small occasional inclusions while the upper surface is glazed with a mottled mid-brown glaze. The outer edge curves slightly upwards where is has broken.

Rim fragment of stoneware pottery dating to the Post-Medieval period. The fragment is irregular in shape and rectangular in cross-section. The outer surface is decorated with a number of moulded horizontal ridges. Between these ridges is a horizontal groove which has been decorated with a dark blue glaze. Below this band are less pronounced ridges. A moulded decoration, possibly floral is below these ridges and is in-filled with a dark purple glaze. The fabric of the fragment is light brown. It is possible that this fragment is of German origin and it is likely to date to the 16th/17t…

Fragment of a vessel dating to the Medieval period. It is sub-triangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The fragment is likely to be part of a Medieval jug or jar. The internal face has a smooth dark grey patina. The internal fabric is a lighter grey. The outer face has a mid-orange patina on the lower half while the upper half is rough and mid-green in colour. The green half has a scar of the vessel below which transferred during firing when the objects were stacked in the kiln.
