A small sub-circular perforated lead seal dating from AD 1900 - 1964. It is a General Post Office seal. It is circular with one flat and one domed face. Strands of copper wire project from four points around the edge. The centre of the seal has been perforated by a circular hole suggesting reuse. The partially obscures the obverse design of the letters G[P]O with a broad arrow above and a numeral, probably 14, below. Measurements are; diameter 19.2mm, thickness 7.2mm and weight 14.50g. The stamped design comprises a central diamond with bifoliate projections from each point set against incised linear decoration. An incomplete livery button of The Honourable Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt (AD 1757-1847) dating to the Modern period, c.AD 1807-1847. It is discoidal and comprises a machine-pressed copper alloy reverse with a probably silver plated front. The front depicts the arms of the Archbishopric of York on the dexter and Edward's paternal arms of Venables-Vernon-Harcourt on the sinister. The reverse has a central, annular lug which is now lost. A complete copper alloy lid or closure, probably modern, dating from about 1900 - 1980. This is a circular hollow screw cap or lid from a vessel such as a very small bottle or vial.  Externally, the face is decorated with a representation, in relief,  of a flower on a stalk with four leaves.  The edges adjacent the face are knurled.  the inside walls of the cap appear to be threaded.  The walls are deformed due to damage.  It measures 10.2mm in diameter, 4.8mm high and weighs 1.4g.

A corroded iron ring of uncertain date. but probably modern, AD 1800 onwards. The ring is a flat, oval disc with a large circular hole in the centre. The width of the hoop varies. The iron appears to be a strip which is shaped to overlap one part of the loop, and finishes with a rounded end, through which there appears to have been a rivet. The ring has a rusty colour corrosion. The ring is 33.8mm in diameter and has a central hole of 16.9mm diameter.  It is 3.5mm thick and weighs 8.0g. The object is likely be modern but its use is uncertain and it is undiagnostic.

A religious medallion. Cast or die punched in copper alloy (or possibly an amalgam with tin) it is oval in shape with a circular attachment loop moulded in at the top. The edge of the medallion has a raised beaded border, and an image of a woman, probably the Virgin Mary, is cast into it. Possible silver, oval shaped fastener from the Victorian or early twentieth century AD, c. 1850-1950. The decoration is eclectic with many faceted shapes making the overall design.The pin mechanism does not survive but the mounting points for this can be seen on the rear of the brooch. It is in clean condition, complete except for the pin. It measures 41mm long by 21mm wide, and weighs 5.23g. In spite of the brooch being made of silver, it is less than 300 years old and therefore does not qualify as Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act 1996 Finders reference: 1872
