An incomplete medieval copper alloy anthropomorphic folding strap-clasp frame, consisting of one arm and the outside edge only. The outside edge is in the form of a crowned head facing, interpreted as a king's head. The crown is decorated with three fleur-de-lis and a triangular protrusion at one end. Four circular holes decorate the band. The face is in high relief with prominent incised eyes and mouth. An incomplete, lead medieval seal matrix. Oval or vesical-shaped stamp, only half of the object remains. The matrix bears an oval frame with a cross pattée. In the centre of the seal is an incised X and axe-shaped design. Surrounding the oval is an inscription which reads +S'B R'S. The reverse of the matrix is plain except for a shallow raised rib across the back. See for example references LANCUM-C65AB5, SWYOR-FB8C5E, LEIC-26BBA1 and BH-4A6073. An incomplete, cast copper-alloy beaded torc or bracelet fragment dating late Iron Age to early Roman, 200 BC - AD 100. The object is slightly curved and with a flat underside, a semi-circular section and 3 beads that were apparently made in one piece and are three-quarter spheres.
