An extremely worn and pierced Post Medieval silver half groat probably of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) dating to AD 1558-1603. The coin is worn to obscure most faces and has a ragged edge. It is pierced from the reverse through to the obverse but it is unclear if this is tapanomic or not.

A fragment from a copper alloy clapper bell, dating to the late Medieval to Post-Medieval period. The fragment comes from the lower everted rim of the bell. Two parallel moulded raised bands, spaced c. 3mm apart, can be seen to run parallel to the bottom edge, the lowest band being part of the bell's lower rim. The interior of the fragment, is smooth and undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina with the appearance of pewter, gunmetal or 'bell bronze', indicating a high tin content. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1720 - 1790. The buckle is a sub-rectangular knee buckle with a drilled frame to house a separate chape. The frame is rectangular in cross section and has curved corners. The buckle would originally had a chape with a projecting double spiked tongue but this is missing. The metal has a dark grey patina with patches of brown rust where the chape would have been. The buckle is 21.45mm long, 14.68mm wide, 1.53mm thick and weighs 1.05 grams. Fragment of a Post-Medieval buckle dating to the period AD 1720-1790. Three quarters of the buckle frame is missing. The fragment is a section of what would originally have been a drilled frame to hold a separate pin or spindle. The frame fragment is L-shaped in plan, comprising the first section of one rounded corner with about 3/4 of the adjacent long side and a short section of the adjacent short side, and is slightly curved. A complete cast copper alloy early post medieval dress hook of Read's (2008) Class E, Type 1. The plate is rectangular with three projecting knops along each long side and a raised rectangular central boss with a quatrefoil. The plate has a moulded border of small oblique lines. The rear end has a rectangular attachment loop and the front edge has a pointed hook with a small ridged collar.

A complete toy pewter plate of 18th century date. The plate has a plain centre surrounded by a wide flange decorated with a moulded pattern of rosettes of five pellets linked by vinescrolls and a beaded rim The plate has been crushed and has split on opposite sides. The plate is largly free from corrosion, retaining a shiny and toned patina.

A complete copper alloy ball of probable Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1900). The object is composed of a sphere of copper-alloy, with dark green glossy patina and minor surface pitting.  The object’s function is unclear but could be a Gaming Piece or Ball Bearing. Diameter: 12.4mm, Weight: 8.60 g The metal is dark green with a smooth patina. Due to the lack wear marks, it seems more likely that this might be a Post-Medieval gaming piece.  Compare: BH-DBB686, NLM-56E8F6, SUR-2CE255 and SWYOR-CF23D7.
