A part of a silver half groat of Elizabeth 1st. It has been folded, and had broken along this fold line into approximatly half along the diamteer. It has alo been pierced with a neat, round hole, probably contemporaneously. It has also suffered possibly more modern damage, having been pierced with a square bladed implement, from the same side as the round hole was made. It is worn and details are difficult to ascertain. A complete copper alloy trade weight, one of a set that would have stacked. It is circular with a raised rim, and the weight would suggest that it is 1/2 ounce. Inside are the stamps of a laver or coffee pot, the inspection mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who controlled the lawful making of weights in London and for three miles around (Withers and Withers 2011, page 78). A cast copper alloy livery button. The face depicts a bull's head erased engorged of a ducal coronet, with a Tudor rose to the left and a portcullis to the right. The reverse has a stump for a loop shank with the maker's mark FIRMIN & WESTALL which dates the button to 1794-1811.

A complete cast copper alloy D-shaped buckle dating to the Post Medieval period c.AD1500-1650. The pin is missing. The buckle frame has a vertical axis bar and then a broadly D-shaped frame having a curved outer edge. This outer edge is splayed the inner edge being higher than the outer. this angled edge has deeply incised decoration creating a series of wavey patterns. Lead possible shot. A cast object comprising a strip or sprue of width 5mm with a series of seven peloidal balls, each of diameter 4mm and each at the end of a conical ingate. The strip is broken at one end and melted at the other. Patinated. A central motif depicts the upper half of a facing figure with wild hair and a short-sleeved garment with its right arm raised, indeterminate objects lie to lower left. An inner circle separates the motif from a three-word circumferential legend: COUNTY FIRE OFFICE – the central word is less clear than the others. A drawn wire loop is brazed to the plain back. A cast copper alloy fragment, 47.5mm in length, from the rim from a post medieval cauldron, skillet or posnet. The exterior surface is rough and fire blackened, the inner surface is smoothly finished. The rim is 5.4mm thick and tapers with a lenticular cross section. The original rim diameter was around 200mm.
