A worn post-medieval copper-alloy eight resellado maravedis 'cob' coin probably of Philip IV (AD 1621-1665) or Charles II of Spain (1665-1700). Uncertain mint and assayer, though probably South American or Caribbean mint. The coin is a crude sub-rectangular shape. Measurements: diameter: 20.7mm; weight: 5.59g

A post-medieval copper alloy coin, Kingdom of Spain, probably a 1 maravedi dating c.AD 1575 - 1700. The coin is poorly struck on an irregularly shaped thick flan. Obverse: rampant lion left in shield Reverse: Castle with three towers in shield The coin is about 20mm in diameter and weighs 1.5g.
