A silver post medieval coin, probably Louis XV (1775-1790), probably dixieme d'ecu (1/10) ecu. Obverse: Illegible, worn smooth. A 'bow tie' shape and another marking (possibly three letters) have been stamped into the surface, but it is not possible to identify if this occurred pre- or post- erasure of the original markings. Reverse: Shield containing three fleur-de-lys, two foliate stems to left and right, surmounted by crown. Legend illegible.

An almost blank silver coin, just discernible as a French 1/2 Ecu (44 Sols) from the reign of Louis XV (1715-74) . The coin has probably been intentionally worn smooth, as was customary for re-use as a 'love token' during the early 18th century. . There is a just-below centre oval containing three fleur de lis but is otherwise unreadable. The reverse is blank.

A silver French 1/10 ecu of Louis XV dated to 1732. SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM reverse depicting oval shield of France, crowned, between two branches of olive tree. Mint uncertain.
The obverse of the coin displays no detail. Similar recorded coins such as CORN-D8E00B, SUR-68F915 are suggested to have been worn smooth though the present example shows no signs of having been milled on the obverse.

Post Medieval silver French dixième d'écu dit "aux branches d'olivier" (10 centime piece with olive branches) of Louis XV (1710-1774) dated to 1750 on the reverse. Fractions of the silver ecu were introduced in 1726. The reverse has an oval shield enclosing three fleurs de lys surmounted by a crown and framed by two olive branches. Although the coin is rubbed almost flat, it must have been milled and not hammered, as hammered coins ceased to be produced in France after 1645.
