A damaged and incomplete post medieval Spanish silver one real piece named to Charles I and Johanna (1506-1544), issued by Philip II in Mexico and dating to 1542-1572. Initial mark: cross potent.
Obverse: CAROLVS ET [IOHANA REGE]S, shield of Léon and Castille with an 'M' with an annulet above to the left side and letter L to the right for the assayer Luis Rodríguez (1548-67).
