Obverse shows a laureate head facing left. Obverse legend reads: IACOBVS. II. – DEI GRATIA. Reverse shows a crown over crossed two sceptres (similar to the imagery used on farthings of his father Charles I), XII above, ‘J’ to the left, ‘R’ to the right and ‘AUG’ below.
