A milled post-medieval coin, silver fourpence, of Charles II, AD 1660-1685. Spink no.3384. Obverse shows a laureate and draped bust right. Obverse legend reads CAROLVS.II./DEI.GRATIA . Reverse shows crowned cross of four inter-locking 'C's, a single rose, thistle, fleur de lis and harp in the angles. Reverse legend reads 16/83.MAG.BR.FRA.ET.HIB.REX. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 1.71g, diameter is 19.2mm, thickness is 0.8mm.
