A tin farthing of James II, AD 1685-1688, dating from AD 1684 to 1687.
This coin is corroded and worn and the obverse is less legible than the reverse. Obverse shows an unclear bust right. Obverse legend reads I[AC]OBVS / [SECVN]DVS. Reverse shows Britannia seated left. Reverse legend reads [BR]I[T]AN/[NI]A. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 5.85g, diameter is 23.1mm, thickness is 3.0mm.
