Silver twopence of James II, Tower, large (4mm) piercing which has worn through the edge of the coin at 12 o'clock on the obverse, evidence (together with the very heavily worn reverse compared to the obverse) of long use as a pendant or similar, 1686-88, perhaps a token of loyalty to the vanished Stuart dynasty in the 18th century
