A Medieval sterling imitation of an Edwardian long cross penny, issued by Valeran II, Count of Ligny (AD 1304-1366). Mint of Serain, probably issued between AD 1310-1330. Cf. Mayhew 1983, no. 220. The coin has suffered some circumferential lost.
