A worn and incomplete late Medieval Venetian soldino (late) or 'Galley halfpenny' of Doge Agostin Barbarigo, (AD.1486-1501), minted at Venice between 1486-1501. Measurements:12.17mm in diameter and 0.32g in weight. Discussion: The silver soldino of Venice was known as the galyhalpens (galley-halfpence) as it was brought by the annual Venetian trading fleets.
