A medieval silver penny of William FitzRobert, Earl of Gloucester (AD 1147-1183) dating to AD 1147-1148.
As North (1980: 174) no. 945. Moneyer unknown, possibly of a new mint perhaps located at Sherbourne. The coin is well struck but chipped.
