1561-1582 Elizabeth I hammered silver threepence. Length 18.6mm, Width 17.7mm, Thickness 0.5mm, Diameter 18.6mm, Weight 0.7g. Obverse: Extreme wear only a beaded inner border visible Illegible. Reverse: Square shield on long cross fourchee dividing the legend, extremely worn with lower quarter of Arms of England - three lions visible only, [POSUI DEU AD]IUT[OREM MEU]. Mint: Probably London.
