A worn and folded silver coin of the Post Medieval period, a half groat of Elizabeth I, third issue, initial mark bell, dating from AD 1582 - 1583. The coin is bent into an L shape at an acute angle, not quite half way across the coin. See North number 2016 on page 137.  The coin is 16.4mm in diameter, 0.7mm thick and weighs 0.82g.  In its bent form, overall thickness is 8.0mm.
