An extremely worn silver Halfgroat of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603). The obverse is worn smooth with no visible head showing, but would have shown a crowned bust facing left. The obverse legend reads [E]LIZAB[ETH.D.G.ANG FR ET HI REGINA]. The reverse shows a long-cross fourchee over shield with worn royal arms. There is no rose or date. The reverse legend reads POSVI/[D]EV.AD/[IVTORE/M.]MEV. The die axis is 4 o'clock, weight is 0.81g, diameter 17.8mm and thickness 0.6mm.

A very worn silver Tudor coin, possibly a Half Groat and probably of Elizabeth I (AD.1558-1603). The obverse is worn flat with no visible head or bust and the legend is illegible. The reverse shows signs of a long-cross fourchee over shield showing royal arms and only 15[..] of the date is visible above. The only part visible of the reverse legend is VI and could originally have read [POS]VI.[DEUM.ADJUTOREM.MEUM]. Die axis is unclear, weight is 0.83g, diameter is 17.9mm and thickness is 0.7mm.
