Mint and initial mark unclear.
Obverse type: crowned bust of Elizabeth facing left with rose behind.
Reverse type: Square shield with long cross fourchée.

A Post-Medieval silver Three halfpence, halfgroat or penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1548-1603). Uncertain intial mark, london mint.
The coin has been pierced, drilled from the obverse, behind the bust, with a mark left by initial drilling to the left of this. If a halfgroat, these would be in line with the two pellets behind the bust.

A postmedieval silver hammered coin. The coin is an incomplete sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603). Half of the coin survives; it has possibly broken due to damage or has been purposely cut in half intended for use as a cut 'threepence'. The coin measures 23mm in diameter.
