A Post Medieval silver coin; a groat of Edward VI in the name of Henry VIII (posthumous coinage) dating from AD 1547 - 1551. It appears to be a mule with the initial mark on the obverse "K" and on the reverse a fleur. See North number 1871. Patches of copper alloy are showing through the silver. It has a diameter of 24.8mm and is 0.84mm thick. 1.94g.
