A complete Medieval silver farthing of Henry VI (1422-1426), minted at London and dating to the period 1454-1460. Probably cross V initial mark (Withers and Withers 2003: 52, S.1).
Obverse: +hE[ ]REX AnGL; Crowned bust facing, saltire on neck, nothing by crown.
Reverse: CIVI/TAS/L[On]/Don; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant.
Diameter: 12.0mm. Weight: 0.21g. DA=12:12-1.
