A silver late medieval to early post-medieval halfpenny of Henry VII (1485-1509), minted at York by Archbishop Savage. North number 1738, Withers number 3A. The coin is worn and in quite poor condition. The coin is small for a halfpenny, and North notes that some very small coins bearing the same types as the halfpence may be farthings, but it is uncertain as to whether any farthings were issued under Henry VII (North 1991, 100).
