An incomplete hammered silver penny possibly of Henry VI (AD 1422 - AD 1461) - rosette issue 1427-30 AD. That based on the possibility of a 'rosette' within what remains of the obverse legend (see 2 o-clock position on obverse image). With just about one third of the coin remaining, there is insufficient evidence to be certain with this coin, it may just be a ubiquitous Edwardian penny! Either way, the coin is from the London mint.

A worn fragment of a silver coin of medieval date. The coin may be an issue of Henry VI (1422-1460 and 1470-1471), as a saltire can be seen in the obverse legend. The coin appears to be from the London mint, but it is too fragmentary for further identification.
