Late Medieval silver groat of Henry VII, 25mm in diameter and 2.97 grams in weight. The groat is a class 1 with open crown and saltaires? on shoulders. The obverse shows facing bust with inscription HENRICUSDEIGRA[TIA]ANGLFRA. Reverse shows long cross and pellets with two rows of inscription, inner reads CIVITAS LONDON with three joined pellets? after civitas. The outer inscription reads POSVID[...]DIVI[...]N. It matches 1703 in North and Seaby 2194.
