A fragment of a contemporary forgery of a gold noble of Henry VI's first reign. Approximately one third of the coin survives. The core is made of a lead-alloy, while the plating is of a tarnished yellow metal, presumably containing some gold. The designs are well executed and copy Henry VI's Annulet issue of 1422-1427. Dimensions: 25.1mm long (remaining diameter), 0.7mm thick. Weight: 2.3g.
