A cut and broken Medieval silver coin; a voided long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), Class 5, probably 5c dating from AD 1250 - 1256. Mint of Canterbury. Moneyer unknown. It is 16.8mm in diameter and 0.6mm thick. It weighs 0.6g. See North number 993 on page 227. The coin is broken into to pieces and the break appears to be quite recent.

Reverse inscription: RIC ARD ONL VND Minted in in London by the moneyer Ricard Diameter: 23.33mm Thickness: 0.94mm Weight: 1.33g
