A copper alloy contemporary forgery of a Medieval voided long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III, of class IVa-V dating to 1250-1272. The moneyer and mint are unclear. The obverse has a portrait with sceptre, the reverse lettering is retrograde. The coin was presumably originally silver plated or washed, but this coating has not survived.
